… designed to enhance contracting and procurement opportunities for small, local and emerging businesses within Alameda County. The County … benefits by inclusion of all size businesses in the bidding process. SLEB certified vendors will increase the vendor base from which the County departments may choose. Inclusion will lead to increased competition in the bidding process and better contracts with lower costs.
I applied to the program on October 3rd and received notification of certification on November 13, significantly quicker than I had expected. Vendor ID is 75225.
