In Fall 2008, I accepted a position with KEMA, Inc., a global technical and management consulting firm serving the energy industry. As the National Proposal and Communications Manager, I’m focused on business development, marketing, and communications. Despite a similar subject matter, the views on this site are my own and not necessarily KEMA’s.
Prior to KEMA, I ran my own public relations consultancy called Planet Relations, which helped small- to mid-sized companies primarily in the green building sector. Before that, I was director of communications for an independent, third party certification firm that verified environmental and green building claims.
Past professional experience also includes working as a pr writer for Gallagher Public Relations (now split into Gallagher Group Communications and Engage Public Relations), a proposal and marketing communications specialist for Enron Energy Services (yes, that Enron!), and as an environmental project manager for Dames & Moore (since acquired by URS Corp), a global engineering and environmental consulting firm.
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in natural resources management from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and a certificate in Integrated Marketing Communications from UC Berkeley.
